Food Bank's July Mobile Food Pantry Schedule

Taking Food Directly to People in Need

Free perishable items (dairy, grains, produce and protein) and dry goods are offered free of charge to northern Indiana residents.  The Food Bank sets up tables at pre-selected locations where people can 'shop' and select items that best meet their needs.

Mobile food pantries are first come, first served for those in need of food assistance, based on available product, while supplies last.  Patrons must provide a valid photo ID (Indiana driver's license or Indiana ID) and are asked to bring their own bags or boxes to transport their items home.  If weather conditions are adverse, there is a possibilty that a mobile pantry could be cancelled.

Please note:

As the Food Bank of Northern Indiana strives to deliver healthy and nutritious food in our six-county service area, the Mobile Food Pantry Program will be modified for the months of July and August 2014 with mobile pantries occuring only in Kosciusko and Starke Counties.

During this interim period, we are working with our member agencies to provide more fresh produce for agencies to distribute to clients in need of food assistance.

Please visit pantries located in your county.  For a list of member agencies of the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, please go to the 'Find an Agency' section.  There, hover over the map/pushpins to find pantries located in your county.

We hope to resume mobile food pantries in all six counties in early fall.  Thank you for your patience during this interim period.
