JOB DESCRIPTION DRIVER
POSITION PURPOSE: The main purpose of the Driver is to assure all orders are filled and delivered accurately and in good condition.
EXEMPT / NON-EXEMPT: Non-exempt, part-time

REPORTING TO: Warehouse Manager and/or Assistant Warehouse Manager
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: None (Community Service/Volunteers on occasion)
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for local trucking of product, both distribution of product to agencies and receiving of products from donors.
2. Responsible for vehicles, including cleaning and maintaining proper maintenance.
3. Responsible for proper use and care of all equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
4. Responsible for proper and safety handling of all food and product.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
1. Position is responsible for trucking, scheduling with donors and agencies, the pickup of donations and delivery of orders.
2. Position is responsible for checking in all product that was picked up from donors and complete all necessary paperwork.
3. Drivers are required to assure orders and donations are properly accounted for before leaving facility. This includes all necessary paperwork, proper charging of product and service fees before leaving on deliveries.
4. Position assists in warehouse duties when not delivering. This includes filling of orders, maintaining all aspects inventory control and cleaning/maintenance of facility, when needed.
5. Drivers must keep vehicles in good condition. This requires routine maintenance checks, cleaning of vehicle inside and out, as well as reporting to Warehouse Manager and/or Assistant Manager when a problem or potential problem does exist.
6. Drivers assure safe transportation, maintaining proper food handling requirements. This includes Feeding America, USDA and OSHA guidelines.
7. Position requires assistance at food drives and other events which might require evening, weekend and other “off hour” work. These events might also require working with volunteers assisting with the event.
8. MUST maintain the highest customer service acumen possible. This includes common courtesy, quality assistance and proper appearance when representing the Food Bank.
9. All other assignments as required by Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting (a minimum of 50 lbs.), redistribution and handling of food, is required. Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time, as well as areas of extreme cold for short periods of time. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

POSITION TITLE: Environmental Services Assistant
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting all touchable surfaces throughout the building.
EXEMPT / NON-EXEMPT: Part-time non-exempt, hourly

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS AND OR TRAINING:
The Cleaning Assistant is of good character, work independently, physically fit, good communication skills, excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents if needed. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. History of good attendance and performance is required.
High School diploma or equivalent, self -motivated with the ability to see what needs to be done and to follow through until all work is satisfactorily completed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is required to do light to moderate physical work and must be able to bend, twist, stand, and/or walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time, as well as areas of cold or warm for short periods of time. Be able to pick a minimum of 15-20 pounds.
